This Baked Boursin Salmon is a creamy, flavorful, and foolproof dinner recipe. Flaky salmon fillets are baked with garlic herb Boursin cheese and a touch of cream for a rich and elegant meal ready in just 25 minutes.

Ingredients
  

Salmon
  • 4 salmon fillets about 6 oz each, skinless or skin-on
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
Creamy Boursin Topping
  • 1 package Boursin cheese (Garlic & Fine Herbs) about 5.2 oz (150 g)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
Garnish
  • fresh parsley chopped
  • lemon slices for serving

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry and place them in the baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together Boursin cheese, heavy cream, minced garlic, and lemon juice until smooth and creamy.
  4. Spread the Boursin mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
  5. Bake uncovered for 18–20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon slices before serving.

Notes

This recipe pairs beautifully with roasted asparagus, mashed potatoes, or a simple side salad. For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for the heavy cream.
