Ingredients
  

Banana Bread Layer
  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/3 cup butter melted
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
Cheesecake Layer
  • 16 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, egg, flour, baking soda, and salt until combined.
  3. Pour the banana bread batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  4. In another bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Spread the cheesecake mixture over the banana bread layer.
  6. Bake for 55–60 minutes, until the center is set. Allow to cool completely.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

You can add chopped walnuts or chocolate chips to the banana bread layer for extra texture and flavor.
