Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a springform pan.
- In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, egg, flour, baking soda, and salt until combined.
- Pour the banana bread batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread the cheesecake mixture over the banana bread layer.
- Bake for 55–60 minutes, until the center is set. Allow to cool completely.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
You can add chopped walnuts or chocolate chips to the banana bread layer for extra texture and flavor.
