Brown Sugar Pineapple Ham Bake

Ingredients
  

Ham
  • 1 bone-in ham about 8–10 pounds
Glaze
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 can pineapple slices with juice, about 20 oz
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Place the ham in a roasting pan, cut side down.
  2. Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern with a sharp knife.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together brown sugar, pineapple juice (reserve slices), honey, mustard, and cloves.
  4. Brush half of the glaze over the ham. Arrange pineapple slices on top, securing with toothpicks if needed.
  5. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, basting every 30 minutes with remaining glaze.
  6. Remove foil for the last 20 minutes to allow caramelization. Slice and serve warm.
