- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and cream cheese together until smooth and fluffy.
- Add the brownie mix and powdered sugar. Mix on low speed until combined.
- Gradually add milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, until desired creamy consistency is reached.
- Mix in vanilla extract and scrape down sides of the bowl with a spatula.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle with mini chocolate chips.
- Serve with pretzels, strawberries, cookies, or graham crackers for dipping.
Notes
To heat-treat brownie mix: spread it on a baking sheet and bake at 300°F (150°C) for 5 minutes, then cool before using. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
