Pie Crust
  • 1 9-inch pie crust pre-made or homemade
Brownie Filling
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until combined.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, whisk until smooth.
  4. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Stir until just combined.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pie crust.
  6. Bake for 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Let cool before slicing and serving.
