Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups mini pretzel twists
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup chopped roasted almonds or pecans
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Spread pretzels evenly over the prepared baking sheet.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and brown sugar, stirring constantly.
  4. Bring to a gentle boil and cook for 3 minutes until thick and glossy.
  5. Remove from heat and carefully stir in vanilla, salt, and baking soda.
  6. Immediately pour the hot toffee over pretzels and spread to coat.
  7. Bake for 10 minutes to help the toffee adhere.
  8. Sprinkle nuts and chocolate chips over the hot pretzels.
  9. Let sit briefly, then spread melted chocolate evenly.
  10. Cool completely, then break into clusters and serve.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
