Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar packed
  • 2 eggs large
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups butterscotch chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together melted butter and brown sugar in a large bowl until smooth and glossy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
  6. Fold in the butterscotch chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Spread batter evenly into the prepared pan and bake for 25–30 minutes, until edges are set and center is slightly soft.
  8. Allow bars to cool completely before slicing into squares and serving.

Notes

For extra indulgence, serve slightly warm with vanilla ice cream or drizzle with caramel sauce.
