- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish lightly.
- Place the cubed bread and diced apples into the baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla.
- Pour the mixture evenly over the bread and apples. Gently press down so the bread absorbs the custard.
- Drizzle 1/2 cup caramel sauce over the top.
- Bake for 45 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden.
- Serve warm with extra caramel sauce drizzled on top.
Notes
Try adding chopped pecans or a pinch of nutmeg for extra flavor.
