Ingredients
  

Banana Bread Batter
  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 eggs lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
Caramel Swirl
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce store-bought or homemade

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mash bananas and whisk in melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce on top and swirl with a knife. Add remaining batter and repeat with the rest of the caramel.
  5. Bake for 55–65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  6. Drizzle with extra caramel before serving if desired.

Notes

For an extra indulgent touch, add chocolate chips or a sprinkle of sea salt on top before baking!
