Cheeseburger French Fry Bake

This comforting casserole combines the best of two favorites: cheesy burgers and crispy fries, all baked into one family-friendly dish.

Ingredients
  

Base
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can condensed cheddar cheese soup 10.5 oz can
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese divided
Topping
  • 1 bag frozen French fries about 20 oz
  • 1/4 cup pickles chopped, optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the cheddar cheese soup and half of the shredded cheddar. Mix until combined.
  4. Spread beef mixture into the prepared baking dish. Top evenly with frozen French fries.
  5. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, until fries are golden and crispy.
  6. Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese over the top and bake for 5 more minutes, until melted. Garnish with pickles if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

You can swap cheddar cheese soup with cream of mushroom or cream of chicken for a different flavor. Serve with ketchup, mustard, or burger sauce for dipping!
