Cheeseburger Nachos

Ingredients
  

Nachos
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 bag tortilla chips
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup red onion finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup pickles sliced
  • 1/2 cup lettuce shredded
Sauce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp sugar

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  4. Cook for 6–8 minutes, breaking up the meat, until fully browned. Drain excess fat.
  5. Spread tortilla chips evenly on a large baking sheet.
  6. Layer half of the cooked beef over the chips, followed by half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  7. Repeat with remaining beef and cheese.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Meanwhile, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, apple cider vinegar, and sugar until smooth.
  10. Remove nachos from the oven and top with tomatoes, red onion, pickles, and shredded lettuce.
  11. Drizzle the sauce over the nachos just before serving.

Notes

Serve immediately for best texture. Add jalapeños or bacon bits for extra flavor.
