  • 1 pound fresh asparagus trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Arrange asparagus in a single layer in a baking dish.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the asparagus and sprinkle garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika. Toss gently to coat.
  4. Pour the heavy cream evenly over the asparagus.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheese across the top.
  6. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until asparagus is tender and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Broil for 1–2 minutes for a golden cheesy finish, if desired.
  8. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice after baking or mix in crushed red pepper flakes for heat.
