- In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5–7 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour, salt, and 2 tablespoons olive oil. Mix until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes, then place it in a greased bowl. Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Transfer the dough to a greased baking pan. Stretch it out gently to form an even layer.
- Drizzle with remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil. Use fingertips to create dimples all over the surface.
- Sprinkle garlic evenly across the dough, followed by mozzarella, parmesan, oregano, and thyme.
- Bake for 20–22 minutes until golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly, top with fresh parsley if desired, and slice before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a drizzle of garlic butter right after baking.
