- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add the onion and garlic, cooking for 3–4 minutes until softened.
- Stir in the tomato paste, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute.
- Add the beef broth, milk, and pasta. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
- Cover and cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
- Remove from heat and fold in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
- Optional: stir in a small squirt of ketchup and mustard for authentic sloppy cheeseburger flavor.
Notes
For extra flavor, add pickles or top with crispy fried onions before serving.
