Chicken Stuffed Crescent Rolls

Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast shredded or diced
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • to taste salt and pepper
Assembly
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough 8 rolls
  • 2 tbsp butter melted, for brushing
  • 1 tsp parsley optional, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine cooked chicken, cream cheese, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles. Spoon a heaping tablespoon of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
  4. Roll up each triangle from the wide end to the tip, enclosing the filling inside. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with parsley if desired.
  6. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and puffed. Serve warm.

Notes

These rolls are great for parties or quick lunches! Try adding bacon bits, chopped green onions, or a little hot sauce for a flavor twist.
