- In a bowl, combine chipotle peppers, lime juice, lime zest, garlic, olive oil, honey, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the shrimp to the bowl and mix until fully coated. Let marinate for 10–15 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side, or until pink and cooked through.
- Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet or directly over a low flame until soft.
- Assemble the tacos by layering cabbage, shrimp, avocado slices, and cilantro.
- Serve with lime wedges for squeezing over the top.
Notes
For extra smoky heat, add more chipotle or a splash of adobo sauce to the marinade.
