Ingredients
  

Chipotle Sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream full-fat or light
  • 1-2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce adjust to spice preference
  • 1 tbsp adobo sauce from the can
  • 1 clove garlic minced or crushed
  • 1 tbsp lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 tsp salt or to taste

Method
 

  1. Add sour cream, chipotle peppers, adobo sauce, garlic, lime juice, and salt to a blender or food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  3. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 5 days in an airtight container.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for half of the sour cream. Add more chipotle for extra heat or a teaspoon of honey for a touch of sweetness.
