Method
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange pecans in small clusters of 3-4 pieces each.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt caramels with heavy cream in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Spoon a small amount of melted caramel over each pecan cluster. Let set for 5 minutes.
- Melt chocolate chips (with oil if using) until smooth. Spoon or drizzle chocolate over the caramel clusters, covering completely.
- Allow clusters to cool and harden at room temperature or refrigerate until set. Enjoy!
Notes
For variety, try using dark chocolate or adding a sprinkle of sea salt on top of each cluster before the chocolate sets.
