  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
Mix-ins
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup red and green candy-coated chocolate pieces

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Cream softened butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and red-green candy pieces.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized dough portions onto the baking sheet with spacing for spreading.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden and centers remain soft.
  9. Let cookies rest on the baking sheet for 2 minutes, then cool completely on a wire rack.

Notes

For extra festive flair, add more candy pieces on top before baking!
