Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Trim crusts off the bread slices and flatten each slice with a rolling pin.
- Spread a small amount of the cream cheese filling across each slice, then roll up tightly from one end to the other.
- Combine the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Brush each roll with melted butter and roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat completely.
- Place rolls seam-side down on the baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden and crisp.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!
Notes
These rolls are best enjoyed fresh, but they can be reheated in a toaster oven for a crispy finish. Try swapping the cream cheese filling for Nutella or fruit jam for fun variations!
