Rolls
  • 8 slices white sandwich bread crusts removed
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter melted
Cinnamon Sugar Coating
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

Equipment

  • Rolling Pin
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper
  • Pastry Brush

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

  4. Spread a small amount of the cream cheese filling across each slice, then roll up tightly from one end to the other.
  5. Combine the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Brush each roll with melted butter and roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat completely.
  6. Place rolls seam-side down on the baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden and crisp.

Notes

These rolls are best enjoyed fresh, but they can be reheated in a toaster oven for a crispy finish. Try swapping the cream cheese filling for Nutella or fruit jam for fun variations!
