Ingredients
  

BBQ Chicken Filling
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and black pepper to taste
Sliders
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup red onion thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the shredded chicken and season with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Pour in the BBQ sauce and stir until the chicken is evenly coated and heated through.
  5. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  6. Spoon the BBQ chicken evenly over the buns.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the chicken, then add sliced red onion.
  8. Cover with the top halves of the buns.
  9. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  10. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 12 minutes.
  11. Remove foil and bake for an additional 8–10 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
  12. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

These sliders can be customized with coleslaw or pickles for extra crunch and flavor.
