Copycat Rum Chata (Non-Alcoholic)

Ingredients
  

Drink Base
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp non-alcoholic rum extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • salt pinch

Method
 

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the whole milk and heavy cream over low heat.
  2. Warm gently for 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally, without allowing the mixture to boil.
  3. Add the sweetened condensed milk and whisk until fully dissolved and smooth.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract, non-alcoholic rum extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, honey, and salt.
  5. Continue heating for another 2–3 minutes, stirring constantly to blend the flavors.
  6. Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
  7. Transfer to a glass bottle or jar, seal, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
  8. Shake well before serving and enjoy chilled, over ice, or in coffee.

Notes

Store refrigerated for up to 5 days. Shake well before each use, as natural separation may occur.
