Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup cooked chicken breast diced
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers
  • 2 tbsp sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh basil or oregano chopped, optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spread the cottage cheese evenly across the bottom of an oven-safe bowl.
  3. Spoon the marinara sauce over the cottage cheese and gently spread to cover.
  4. Sprinkle the Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper evenly over the sauce.
  5. Layer the chicken, bell peppers, mushrooms, and black olives on top.
  6. Add the shredded mozzarella cheese as the final layer.
  7. Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Broil for 1–2 minutes if desired for a lightly golden top.
  9. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh herbs if using, and serve warm.
