Method
- In a small bowl, mix softened butter with minced garlic, parsley, and salt until well combined.
- Spread the garlic butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
- Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, in a skillet over medium heat. Add cheese slices and a pinch of black pepper on top.
- Top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side up.
- Grill for 3–4 minutes per side, pressing gently with a spatula, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Slice and serve hot, optionally with tomato soup or a side salad.
Notes
For extra crunch, sprinkle a bit of grated Parmesan on the buttered sides before grilling. You can also experiment with different cheeses for a fun flavor mix!
