Method
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and lightly sear the steak pieces for 1–2 minutes on each side to enhance flavor.
- Place the potatoes, carrots, and onion at the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add the seared steak on top of the vegetables.
- In a small bowl, mix garlic, paprika, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle evenly over the steak and vegetables.
- Pour the beef broth into the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 7–8 hours or on high for 4–5 hours, until the potatoes are tender and the steak is flavorful.
- Stir gently before serving and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
For extra richness, add a tablespoon of butter during the last hour of cooking.
