Garlic Aioli Sauce

This creamy and flavorful garlic aioli sauce is perfect as a dip, sandwich spread, or drizzle over roasted vegetables and seafood.

Ingredients
  

Aioli Base
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 egg yolk room temperature
  • 1 tsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt to taste
  • black pepper optional, to taste

Method
 

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg yolk and lemon juice until well combined.
  2. Add minced garlic and a pinch of salt to the mixture.
  3. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking constantly to emulsify the sauce.
  4. Continue whisking until the mixture thickens into a creamy aioli.
  5. Season with additional salt, pepper, or lemon juice to taste. Serve immediately or refrigerate until use.

Notes

For a shortcut, blend all ingredients with a hand blender. You can also add herbs like parsley or basil for a unique twist.
