Method
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, and minced garlic. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sausage slices and cook until browned, about 3–4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- Add broccoli to the skillet and sauté for 3–4 minutes until bright green and slightly tender. Add a splash of water if needed to steam.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Return sausage to the skillet, pour the honey garlic sauce over the mixture, and toss to coat. Simmer for 1–2 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens. (Add cornstarch if you prefer a thicker glaze.)
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve immediately with rice or quinoa if desired.
Notes
Use turkey or chicken sausage for a lighter option. This dish also works great with asparagus or bell peppers instead of broccoli!
