Ingredients

Beef Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
Taco Assembly
  • 4 flour tortillas small taco size
  • 4 slices bacon cooked until crispy, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tomato diced
  • 1/4 cup pickles sliced
  • 1/4 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 cup burger sauce or mayonnaise

Equipment

  • Skillet

Method

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
  3. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until soft and pliable.
  4. Assemble tacos: spoon beef mixture into tortillas, top with cheese, bacon, tomato, pickles, and lettuce.
  5. Drizzle with burger sauce or mayonnaise and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, toast the tortillas on a hot skillet with a little butter before assembling. You can also swap cheddar with American cheese for a more classic cheeseburger taste.
