Method
- Pat the steaks dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steaks for 3–4 minutes per side or until they reach your preferred doneness. Remove and set aside.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds.
- Pour in the chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the pan to release browned bits.
- Reduce heat to medium and stir in heavy cream, sun-dried tomatoes, oregano, thyme, and paprika. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.
- Add Parmesan and stir until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Return the steaks to the pan and spoon the sauce over them. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
Notes
Great served with mashed potatoes, pasta, or roasted vegetables.
