Ingredients
  

Chicken Mixture
  • 4 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
Topping
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed Ritz crackers about 1 sleeve
  • 4 tbsp butter melted

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  3. Fold in shredded chicken and cheddar cheese until well combined.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  5. In a small bowl, combine crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter. Sprinkle evenly over the chicken mixture.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

This casserole can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated for up to 24 hours before baking. Add an extra 10 minutes to the baking time if chilled.
