Sliders
  • 12 slider rolls
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 8 slices turkey breast
  • 8 slices roasted chicken breast
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • powdered sugar for dusting
  • raspberry or strawberry jam optional, for serving

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally without fully separating them.
  3. Mix melted butter, Dijon mustard, and honey in a small bowl.
  4. Brush the inside of the rolls with the butter mixture.
  5. Layer turkey, chicken, and Swiss cheese evenly over the bottom halves.
  6. Replace the top halves of the rolls and gently press down.
  7. Whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper.
  8. Carefully pour the egg mixture evenly over the sliders, allowing it to soak in.
  9. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  10. Remove foil and bake another 10–12 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
  11. Dust lightly with powdered sugar and serve warm with jam on the side.

Notes

For extra indulgence, serve with a light dusting of powdered sugar just before serving and plenty of jam for dipping.
