  • 1 cup whole milk cold
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp coffee syrup or strong coffee chilled
  • 1 tbsp chocolate syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp non-alcoholic rum extract
  • 1 tbsp sugar or maple syrup
  • ice cubes
  • cocoa powder or grated chocolate for garnish

Method
 

  1. Fill a short glass with ice cubes and set aside.
  2. In a small shaker or bowl, combine the milk, heavy cream, coffee syrup, chocolate syrup, vanilla extract, rum extract, and sugar.
  3. Stir or shake well until the mixture is fully blended and smooth.
  4. Pour the creamy mixture over the prepared ice-filled glass.
  5. Dust the top lightly with cocoa powder or grated chocolate.
  6. Serve immediately as a rich and indulgent dessert-style drink.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for the heavy cream. Best enjoyed fresh.
