Method
- Rinse rice under cold water until clear and drain well.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter with olive oil.
- Add garlic and sauté briefly until fragrant.
- Stir in rice and toast for 1–2 minutes.
- Add chicken broth, salt, and pepper and bring to a gentle boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until rice is tender and liquid absorbed.
- Remove from heat and rest covered for 5 minutes.
- Fluff rice and stir in Parmesan cheese until creamy.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
For extra richness, add an additional tablespoon of butter before serving.
