Method
- In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add melted butter, egg, and salt. Mix well.
- Gradually add flour and knead for 6–8 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled.
- Prepare filling by mixing cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Set aside.
- Once dough has risen, roll it into a large rectangle about 1 cm thick.
- Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
- Sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar, then scatter diced peaches evenly.
- Roll tightly into a log and slice into 10–12 rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking pan, cover, and let rise for 25–30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 22–25 minutes until golden.
- Prepare glaze by whisking powdered sugar, cream cheese, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Drizzle glaze over warm rolls before serving.
Notes
For extra peach flavor, add a spoonful of peach jam into the filling layer.
