Peach Cheesecake Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 0.25 cup sugar
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 0.5 tsp salt
Filling
  • 1.5 cups fresh or canned peaches, diced and drained
  • 200 g cream cheese, softened
  • 0.25 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese, softened
  • 2-3 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add melted butter, egg, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour and knead for 6–8 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled.
  4. Prepare filling by mixing cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Set aside.
  5. Once dough has risen, roll it into a large rectangle about 1 cm thick.
  6. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough.
  7. Sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar, then scatter diced peaches evenly.
  8. Roll tightly into a log and slice into 10–12 rolls.
  9. Place rolls in a greased baking pan, cover, and let rise for 25–30 minutes.
  10. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 22–25 minutes until golden.
  11. Prepare glaze by whisking powdered sugar, cream cheese, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  12. Drizzle glaze over warm rolls before serving.

Notes

For extra peach flavor, add a spoonful of peach jam into the filling layer.
