  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough 8 rolls
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans toasted if desired
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 tbsp corn syrup light or dark
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla, salt, and chopped pecans. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the pecan mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
  4. Roll each triangle up starting from the wide end, tucking in the filling as you go. Place on the prepared baking sheet with the tip side down.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and flaky.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving. Optional: drizzle with caramel sauce or sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Notes

For extra indulgence, serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
