Ingredients

Base Mixture
  • 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips or chopped milk chocolate
Decoration
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate melted, for drizzling
  • 12 red candies or red M&Ms for holly berries
  • 24 green fondant leaves or green candies for holly leaves

Equipment

  • Large Saucepan
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Baking tray
  • Parchment Paper

Method

  1. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the milk chocolate until melted and combined.
  4. Add the Rice Krispies cereal and stir gently until well coated with the chocolate mixture.
  5. Using lightly greased hands, shape the mixture into small pudding-sized balls and place them on the prepared tray.
  6. Drizzle each pudding with melted white chocolate to resemble icing dripping down the sides.
  7. Decorate with red candies and green fondant leaves on top to create the holly decoration.
  8. Allow to set in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, mix in a splash of vanilla extract or a tablespoon of cocoa powder with the melted marshmallows. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
