Method
- In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, mustard powder, salt, and pepper. Shape into 6 oval patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 4–5 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter, then whisk in the flour to create a roux. Cook for 1 minute.
- Slowly pour in the beef broth, whisking continuously until the gravy thickens.
- Add soy sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Return the patties to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes until cooked through and infused with gravy.
- Preheat oven according to croissant package instructions.
- In a small bowl, mix softened butter, honey, and brown sugar.
- Unroll the croissant dough, brush with honey butter, roll, and shape.
- Bake until golden brown. Brush again with remaining honey butter for a sweet, glossy finish.
