Sloppy Joe Casserole Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 15 oz Manwich sauce 1 can
  • 3 cups cooked pasta (elbow or rotini)
  • 1 cup frozen corn
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • salt to taste
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook 5–6 minutes, breaking it into crumbles.
  3. Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook 3–4 minutes until softened.
  4. Stir in Manwich sauce, corn, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Simmer 5 minutes.
  5. Add cooked pasta and stir to combine.
  6. Transfer mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
  7. Top with cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  8. Bake 20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley and enjoy warm.
