Ingredients

  • 3 lbs beef ribs
  • 12 oz Coca-Cola 1 can
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce alcohol-free
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce alcohol-free
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Equipment

  • Slow Cooker
  • Skillet
  • Tongs
  • Mixing Bowl

Method

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear beef ribs on all sides for 2–3 minutes until browned.
  2. Transfer ribs to the slow cooker.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together Coca-Cola, barbecue sauce, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the mixture over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 7–8 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours until ribs are tender and nearly falling off the bone.
  6. Optional: For a caramelized finish, remove ribs, brush with extra barbecue sauce, and broil for 3–4 minutes.
  7. Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or grilled vegetables.

Notes

For even richer flavor, reduce some of the slow cooker liquid on the stovetop and drizzle over ribs before serving.
