- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare a grill over medium heat.
- Mix salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, and chili powder.
- Pat chicken dry, rub with olive oil, and coat evenly with the spice mixture.
- Cook chicken for 20 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Combine BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and honey or brown sugar.
- Brush BBQ sauce over chicken and cook for another 10–15 minutes until caramelized and cooked through.
- Let rest for 5 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve.
