Method
- Gather all your ingredients. Add the frozen mango chunks, frozen strawberries, ripe banana, almond milk, optional honey or maple syrup, optional vanilla extract, and optional ice cubes into your blender.
- Secure the lid on your blender. Blend on high speed for 30-60 seconds, or until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Ensure there are no visible fruit chunks remaining.
- Check the consistency of the smoothie. If it's too thick for your liking, add more almond milk (or water/juice) one tablespoon at a time and blend again until you achieve your desired pourable consistency.
- Taste the "Sunshine in a Glass Easy Mango Strawberry Smoothie" and adjust the sweetness if necessary. If you prefer it sweeter, add another teaspoon of honey or maple syrup and blend for a few more seconds to combine.
- Pour the freshly blended smoothie into two glasses and serve immediately. For an appealing touch, you can garnish with a fresh strawberry, a mango slice, or a sprig of mint.
Notes
For an extra nutritional boost, consider adding 1 tablespoon of chia seeds or a handful of fresh spinach (it blends in well and you won't taste it!). For a more tropical twist, use coconut water instead of almond milk. Adding a scoop of plain or vanilla yogurt can increase protein and create an even creamier texture. Best enjoyed fresh!
